Chris joined the DAN team with a uniquely broad background in UX design ranging from contemporary web developments to innovative moving image practices.
Prior to working at Digital Arts, Chris worked in consulting, video production, and web development for a range of companies, including Telecom New Zealand and Villa Maria Estate Wineries. He has also lectured at Auckland University of Technology teaching design research methods and web design.
Chris has a First Class Honours degree in Communication Studies. For his postgraduate studies, Chris received the Dean’s Award for his thesis analysing the creative workflows of film production teams.

A poorly kept secret, Chris is a huge geek. Outside of Digital Arts, Chris can be found hiking mountains, playing with his Google Cardboard, or reading academic journals and articles on computer microprocessor architectures.
