Hailing from a Fine Arts background, Kate has always had an infinite attraction to the multi-layered world of design. After graduating in Graphic Design from the Auckland University of Technology, Kate started her career in digital agencies which saw her developing visual solutions of digital products.
Kate has worked with clients such as the Yellow Pages, St Johns, RWC, GoPro, Air New Zealand, Les Mills, Auckland Transport, My Food Bag, Countdown and BNZ.
She found as her experience grew in the industry, she has come to realisation and appreciation that a great product design not only falls in the visual beauty but also goes in hand with the ease of usability we can provide for our user.
So after a few years, she decided to extend her experience and participated in a team that includes Project Manager, Strategist and Developer to define new user experience and deliver exceptional interaction systems, which ultimately lead her to her journey with us.
“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Growing up in a family of Engineers, it was inevitable that her aspiration and dream was to become a Mechanical Engineer. However, as part of growth dreams change, and Kates passion has shifted to LEGO especially the Technic series! She still gets to put things together, and you'll most likely find her in the 'Lego land'.
